1½ hours | 35 min prep


  1. Pre-heat oven to 450°F.
  2. Spray an 11 x 7 x 2 inch baking dish with PAM, or other non stick spray.
  3. Layer the potatoes and onion.
  4. Combine the water, oil, sage, salt and pepper.
  5. Pour over potato mixture.
  6. Cover and bake at 450°F for 45 to 50 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring twice.
  7. Transfer to a mixing bowl, add yogurt and mash until creamy texture is reached.

Sage Varieties to choose from: Sage - Garden, Sage - Golden Variegated, Sage - Grower's Friend, Sage - Purple, Sage - Silver, Sage - Tricolor.

This is an unusual version of mashed pototoes!  Once you have tried this recipe, you won't want to eat mashed potatoes any other way!!
