Botanic Name: Mentha requienii

Description: Groundcover herb with small aromatic leaves. Minute lavender blue flowers in summer.

Uses: Grows between paving stones and used as a path edging. Used to add minty flavor liqueurs. Strong peppermint scent and flavor.

Harvesting: Pick young shoots spring to fall.

Best Results: Keep moist, does not tolerate extreme dry or wet conditions.

Companion Planting: Can be used amongst other plants to help suppress weeds.
