Botanic Name: Mentha spicata 'Moroccan'

Description: A robust perennial with sweetly fragrant foliage. The traditional mint used in Morocco for tea.

Uses: Choice mint for tea. Excellent flavor, especially for mint sauce. Use with potatoes, peas, carrots, green beans & in salads.

Harvesting: Pick sprigs all summer. Remove leaves and use fresh or dried.

Best Results: Growing in containers is recommended, as mints can be invasive.

Companion Planting: Useful around the garden, as mints are attractive to beneficial insects.
