SERVES 2

  1. Melt butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté pork until brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer pork to plate.
  5. Add wine to same skillet.
  6. Stir and bring to a simmer.
  7. Stir in cranberry sauce, onion and Thyme.
  8. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until slightly reduced, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes.
  9. Season sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
  10. Return pork and any juices to the skillet.
  11. Cook until heated through, about 1 minute.
  12. Serve with Cranberry - Thyme sauce, poured over the pork chops.

 

Thyme savory flavor:- Thyme - Compact English, Thyme - English, Thyme - Provence, Thyme - Tabor.

 

This recipe is very flavorful and doubles very easily.   

A coffee grinder is great for finely chopping dried or fresh thyme leaves, but keep 'herb-coffee grinder' only for herbs.  (Buy a separate coffee grinder just for coffee.)
